The Python programs and data I used to create these plots are stored in the bzip2 compressed TAR archives. While most Linux distributions include several programs to extract compressed TAR files (tar, Ark, etc.), Windows doesn't include built-in TAR programs. I recommend 7Zip as the simplest, easiest solution. Extract the entire tar.bz2 into a directory and you should be able to run the Python programs if you the required modules and libraries installed. If you run into any problems running these programs, please email me at dlung@transmitter.com I'm still looking for a way to properly map these images over Google Earth or Open Street Map. As you can see from the location of the terrain shadows there are huge errors. Let me know if you find a way!
